Tips for our special day!

We will be very happy to have you in Colombia for our wedding! Here are useful tips for our special day

If you haven't booked your flight and hotel, please do so. If you need us to allocate you with some group or to give you more information, please let us know, we will be happy to help you!

The dress code

For men suit and Tie

For girls long or short dress, as you feel comfortable with

(we wouldn't recommend you to wear white on that day)

Warning:

Since the Ceremony is outside in the garden we don't recommend

girls to wear high heels which have a "stiletto Heel"

"tacon puntilla", "Pfennigabsatz"

you might sink in the graden area ;-D

...The sun will set approximately at 18 hrs, we will have some sun cream but not sure if it’s enough for everyone ;-)

The ceremony starts at 15:30 hrs.

We will have a Romantic Ceremony in the garden, please check the weather conditions beforehand, the ceremony is outdoor and the wedding party inside...

If you haven't practiced Latinoamerican dance (SALSA, MERENGUE..etc.) you still have four months to lern it, but don't worry in Colombia dancing perfectly is not important, it is more important to have fun with the music

Before the wedding we will be in San Andres for some days with more people. If you want to join us, just let us know. San Andres is one of the most beautiful islands of Colombia in the Caribbean sea. We are pretty sure that you would love it! After the wedding we will visit Cartagena for 5 days, you can join us here too, and after that we will go on honeymoon, so we won't be available ;-)

Please come with the best attitude - you may end up in the swimming pool ;-)....

For the presents we will have a table called "lluvia de Sobres" it is like a letter box were you can put in an envelope with a present, (this is commonly used for weddings in Colombia for monetary presents)

After all, most of you are coming from abroad and we don't want to make your trip more complicated by carrying presents, for us it would be easier as well to travel back home

If you were wondering, of course we will have delicious mojitos, so please be prepared! ;-)Maybe go to bed early the night before, because we will party until the sun shines again and even later…
